The Swiss National Museum’s publicly accessible library specializes in archaeology, art history, cultural history, Swiss history, museology, restoration and conservation.

Use of the library
The SNM library is a reference library with a reading room and photocopying facilities. Most items can be borrowed over the weekend (from Friday to Tuesday). However, you are advised to order books in advance by e-mail or phone.
